Trip to Humayun’s Tomb
K.R. Mangalam University’s School of Liberal Arts organised an academic trip to Humayun’s Tomb, Delhi, providing students with an enriching experiential learning opportunity. The UNESCO World Heritage Site served as a living classroom where students explored India’s rich architectural and cultural legacy, understood cross-cultural influences in Mughal architecture, and engaged in discussions on heritage preservation and conservation practices. The visit also highlighted the intersection of language, history, and culture for students, a chance to connect classroom knowledge with real-world experiences. This academic initiative reflects the University’s commitment to holistic and experiential education, enabling students to learn beyond textbooks through direct engagement with heritage and culture.
