Position Overview
The Industry Connect Manager will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing long-term partnerships between K.R. Mangalam University and industry. This role goes beyond placements — focusing on bringing live industry projectsguest practitionersjoint programs, and collaborative opportunities that enhance the employability and practical learning of students across all Schools of the University.

Key Responsibilities
1. Industry Engagement & Partnerships
  • Identify, approach, and onboard companies across diverse sectors for academic–industry collaboration.
  • Develop strategic partnerships leading to MoUs, joint programs, sponsored labs, or Centers of Excellence.
  • Maintain and update a structured Industry Partnership Database and relationship pipeline.
2. Industry Projects & Experiential Learning
  • Source live projects, consultancy assignments, and case competitions for integration into courses and capstone projects.
  • Liaise with faculty to align projects with curricular learning outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the Experiential Learning team and Deans to implement industry-led projects each semester.
3. Practitioner Engagement
  • Curate a calendar of guest lectures, masterclasses, and practitioner talks across disciplines.
  • Facilitate onboarding of industry experts as adjunct or visiting faculty.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics and communication for industry speaker sessions.
4. Corporate Collaboration & Branding
  • Build relationships with professional bodies (CII, NASSCOM, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, etc.) and local industry clusters.
  • Work with the Marketing & Communications team to highlight partnerships and events.
  • Represent the University at industry forums, summits, and networking events.
5. Metrics & Reporting
  • Maintain KPIs including:
    • Number of new partnerships established
    • Number of industry projects initiated
    • Number of practitioner sessions and workshops conducted
    • Student engagement levels in industry-linked activities
    • Industry satisfaction feedback and renewals
  • Prepare quarterly reports for senior leadership summarizing outcomes and new opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (MBA or equivalent in Management / Marketing / Education / Engineering).
  • 7–12 years of relevant experience in corporate relations, partnerships, or industry–academia interface roles.
  • Experience in higher education, consulting, or industry liaison functions is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
