Location: KR Mangalam University, Gurugram

• About the Role KR Mangalam University is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to head its Center of Excellence in Robotics & Automation.
• This is a high-impact role designed for an accomplished academic or industry expert who can drive innovation, research, and industry collaboration while shaping the future of robotics education and technology at a leading Indian university.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Center, aligned with university goals.
• Establish the Center as a national and international leader in robotics & automation research and education.
• Foster a culture of innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and academic excellence.

Research & Development:

• Lead cutting-edge research initiatives and secure extramural funding and grants.
• Oversee the development of robotics labs and ensure regular upgradation of facilities.
• Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at reputed conferences.

Industry Collaboration:

• Develop strong partnerships with industry, research institutions, and government bodies.
• Facilitate industry-driven projects, internships, faculty training, and student placement opportunities.Robotics @ Krmangalam

Academic Excellence:

• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of faculty, staff, and students.
• Design and implement state-of-the-art robotics curricula at UG and PG levels.Introduce and manage certification and training programs in robotics and automation.

Operational Leadership:

• Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and administrative processes for the Center.
• Lead outreach, seminars, workshops, and high-profile technical events.
• Ensure compliance with university and regulatory policies.
  Ideal Candidate Profile

Education:

• PhD in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/strategy/center-head role in academia, research, or industry.
• Track record of high-impact research, patents, publications, or successful industry projects.
• Experience in mentoring faculty, postgraduates, and researchers.
