Awareness Session on Prevention from Malaria
National Service Scheme (NSS), organized an awareness session on the ‘prevention of malaria’ in Lakhuwas Village. The session aimed to raise awareness about malaria prevention strategies, educate community members about the importance of preventive measures, and empower them to take proactive steps to combat malaria. The event was preceded by NSS volunteers where they informed the audience that Malaria is caused by a parasite which is called Plasmodium which infects and destroys the person’s blood. They informed about the symptoms of malaria like continuous high fever, cold and shivering, vomiting and not being able to drink, severe anaemia due to killing of red blood cells etc.
