Extension Activity on Environmental Law

Legal Aid Committee, School of Legal Studies conducted an extension activity and survey on environmental law and safeguards in the village of Ghamroj. The initiative aimed to raise awareness within the local community about the importance of environmental protection and the legal frameworks in supporting sustainable development. During the activity, the team engaged with villagers, explaining key environmental laws and discussing their relevance to the community.  The survey explored villagers’ knowledge on topics such as wet and dry waste, dumping grounds, garbage trucks, and cleanliness. This effort contributed to fostering a more informed and environmentally conscious community in Ghamroj.
