Dr. Appurva Jain
Assistant Professor
Dr. Appurva is currently serving as an Assistant Professor. His academic journey has been marked by a deep commitment to Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, culminating in the completion of his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Delhi, in 2023. His doctoral research focused on the experimental and numerical investigation for mechanics of materials, a subject that has fueled his passion for understanding material behavior.
Before Ph.D., He earned M.E. from Thapar University in 2016 and B.Tech. from RTU Kota in 2011. These foundational educational experiences laid the groundwork for my subsequent contributions to the field of engineering.
Over the course of his career, He had the privilege of working with renowned institutions such as IITM Janakpuri, GGSIPU USAR, and Sanagam Industries Pvt. Ltd. These diverse professional experiences have not only broadened his perspective but have also equipped him with practical insights that he brought into the classroom.
His research interests are wide-ranging, encompassing areas such as CAD/CAM, Robotics AIML, Mechanics of Materials, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). He has contributed to the academic community through publications in reputable journals.
Notably, his work on elastoplastic damage models for ductile materials delves into the intricate mechanical aspects of materials.
One of the highlights of his academic journey is receiving the Best Paper Award at a conference, a recognition that underscores the impact of my research. He actively participate in conferences and symposiums, such as the IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, as part of his commitment to collaboration and knowledge sharing.
