National Academic Depository (NAD)

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) projects, respectively, include Digi Locker and NAD. The idea for the National Academic Depository (NAD) originated from an MHRD initiative to give academic institutions a 24 x 7 online depository to store and publish their academic awards. An academic award can be quickly retrieved from the digital depository, which also checks and assures the award’s legitimacy and secure preservation. It strives to realise the goal of providing Digital Academic Awards to every Indian.
