Prof. B. Suresh

With over 40 years of experience in pharmacy education and profession, Dr. Suresh Bhojraj is the Pro-Chancellor of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru.  He was the President of the Pharmacy Council of India, the statutory body that regulates pharmacy education and profession in India (2003-2021), and the Chairman of the Scientific Body of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (2008-2013), which sets the standards for pharmaceutical substances and formulations. Dr. Suresh is a pioneer and advocate of the pharmacy practice concept in India and has introduced postgraduate and Pharm D programs in the country. He is also a delegate of the United States Pharmacopeia Convention, USA. He was also Chair/ member of the ACPE International Services Commission, USA (2015-2021), and an executive member of the Commonwealth Pharmaceutical Association.
