Dean’s Message

"Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible." – Indra Nooyi

Dear Students,

The global landscape brims with visionaries. Transformative advancements in technology and entrepreneurship come from those who challenge conventions, forging new paths instead of following established ones. These individuals reject the complacency of the status quo, perpetually seeking innovative directions. They embody boldness, foresight, and ambition—driven not always by genius, but by an unrelenting pursuit of distinction. In today's era, robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning have rendered competitive edges ephemeral, eroding incumbents' dominance as novel enterprises and paradigms emerge. As high achievers, you are contemplating advanced management education. You envision global success, bearing the expectations of family and loved ones. It is imperative to align your trajectory with the evolving world—one characterised by flux, replete with paradigms such as VUCA, agility, digital transformation, and deep learning. Where might you transcend these concepts to captivate prospective employers with the acumen acquired over two years? Consider an institution engineered for the 21st century.

Allow me to introduce the School of Management and Commerce at K.R. Mangalam University—a vanguard in equipping leaders for tomorrow and actualising their visions. Since its establishment, K.R. Mangalam University has pioneered contemporary management education, securing NAAC 'A' accreditation and top rankings: No. 1 in Haryana and No. 9 in India by Education World 2025-26. The university is strategically located on a 35-acre green campus along Sohna Road, Gurugram, India's corporate innovation hub.

Our pedagogy integrates experiential learning: live projects with Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture; Bloomberg trading labs; simulations; and CXO interactions. Distinctive is our "Yuva Sankalp" social initiative, empowering rural Sohna communities through education, financial literacy, and digital skills. Our diverse cohort, rigorously selected, fosters collaboration over competition. Faculty from global B-schools, alongside industry experts, drive learning, bolstered by the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence (CoEAI) and MoUs with US/UK universities. As students embark on their educational journey at SOMC, KRMU, we extend our heartfelt wishes for a truly enriching experience. May your time with us be filled with happiness, joy, and blessings as you immerse yourself in learning, growth, and exploration. Remember, your journey with us is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about discovering your true potential and making a positive impact on the world around you.

Regards,
