Role

Own and run the university’s Maker Lab—driving hands-on learning, prototyping, and project-based engineering across programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Maker Lab courses, workshops, and project modules.

• Set up and manage lab infrastructure, tools, safety, and operations.

• Mentor student teams in robotics, IoT, embedded systems, electronics, and rapid prototyping.

• Integrate lab work into academic courses with faculty.

• Build industry partnerships, hackathons, and innovation projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/Robotics/Mechatronics/Electronics or related.

• 5+ years hands-on experience in product development, R&D, or maker spaces.

• Strong skills in prototyping (3D printing/CNC), electronics, embedded systems, and hardware–software integration.

• Builder mindset, project leadership, and mentoring ability.

Create a high-impact, project-driven lab that enables students to design, build, and deploy real-world systems.
