“Empowering minds, shaping futures. Join us at the School of Basic & Applied Sciences for transformative education and societal impact."
As the Dean of the School of Basic & Applied Sciences, I am proud to share that since its inception in 2013, the School has consistently upheld a strong tradition of delivering experiential, real-world–oriented education across its undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. The School offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Forensic Science, along with Ph.D. programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Forensic Science. Each programme is thoughtfully designed to equip students with strong conceptual foundations, analytical skills, and practical expertise, enabling them to apply their knowledge for societal advancement as well as professional success.
The School is committed to nurturing innovation, ethical values, and transformative leadership by providing a modern, learner-centric, and morally grounded education. Our academic framework emphasises excellence, professional competence, and the ability to address contemporary social, environmental, and technological challenges. Through an inclusive and supportive learning environment, we encourage students to harness their unique strengths for the greater good of humanity while cultivating a deep sense of social responsibility.
To ensure holistic development, students are actively encouraged to engage in a wide range of enriching experiences, including scientific research and development programmes, industry immersion, forensic laboratory exposure, global collaborations, community outreach initiatives, summer internships, as well as participation in sports and cultural activities. Our highly qualified and accomplished faculty members, with a blend of extensive industry experience and rigorous applied research expertise, play a pivotal role in mentoring students and driving impactful solutions to real-world problems.
I warmly invite aspiring learners, researchers, and professionals to explore our institution further—online or by visiting our campus and become part of a vibrant academic community dedicated to lifelong learning, innovation, and societal impact.
