Dr. Kumud Kant Awasthi is a Professor at the School of Basic and Applied Sciences, K.R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, Haryana, India. He brings extensive academic, administrative, and research experience from his previous roles at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, and the National Institute of Animal Welfare (MoEF&CC, GoI), Faridabad. An expert in nanotoxicology and environmental toxicology, Dr. Awasthi has specialized in studying nanoparticle toxicity through both in vivo and in vitro models. He holds Indian and German patents, has edited multiple books, special issues in reputed journals, and secured copyrights. In addition, he worked as Program Manager for animal welfare initiatives at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and was appointed as an Environment Auditor by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB). Dr. Awasthi has been invited by the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics. He is serving as a member of CPCSEA’s Animal Ethics Committees. A life member of several scientific societies, he plays a significant role in organizing national and international academic conferences.
