Dr. Saba Rashid is an accomplished Forensic Science Professional and academic, currently serving as an assistant professor at K. R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, Haryana. With a Ph.D. in forensic science from Bundelkhand University, she has established herself in the areas of forensic analysis, crime scene investigation, and advanced laboratory techniques. She has previously held positions as a Senior Research Fellow at the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Institute of Forensic Science and Criminology and as an assistant professor at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University. Her extensive hands-on experience includes work in NDPS, toxicology, and medico-legal investigations at the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Lucknow. A UGC-NET and JRF qualified, She is also a prolific researcher with multiple publications and conference presentations to her credit. She co-holds a design patent for a “fingerprint-detecting bamboo white ash brush.” Her instrumental expertise spans techniques like GC-MS, FTIR, UV spectrophotometry, and XRD. She is known for integrating research into teaching and actively mentoring students, reflecting her commitment to the advancement of forensic science education and practice.
