Design 2030 Conference

The Design 2030 Conference, organized by the School of Architecture and Design at K.R. Mangalam University, commenced with an inspiring opening address by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, setting a visionary tone for the academic conclave. The inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Dr. Ashok Kumar (Former H-Grade Scientist, CSIR-CBRI), Sarana Bhatia (Initiator, Lifeline Raha), renowned artist Gopalram Joshi, Spanish contemporary artist Elvira Matos, and Hemant Sud, Chairperson of IIID, whose presence strengthened the spirit of interdisciplinary collaboration and creative excellence. A major highlight was the inauguration of RASA, the student exhibition by SOAD, along with engaging industry sessions, hands-on workshops, and the SAMWAD platform that fostered meaningful dialogue between experts and students.  Overall, Design 2030 successfully brought together academia, industry leaders, artists, and emerging designers to promote innovation, sustainability, and forward-thinking conversations in the built environment.
