Green Roots Plantation Drive

The Environment Club of K.R. Mangalam University, under the aegis of DSW, successfully organized the Green Roots Plantation Drive at the Agriculture Farm and Herbal Garde . 
During the drive, more than 30 saplings were planted, which included fruit plants, medicinal plants, decorative plants and rubber plants. A proud highlight was the introduction of about 10 new plant species on the campus, further enriching its biodiversity and contributing to a sustainable ecosystem . 
The event was made vibrant by the enthusiastic student volunteers who actively participated in digging pits, planting saplings, watering and caring for each new plant. Their energy, teamwork and dedication reflected the true spirit of youth-led environmental change. The Green Roots Plantation Drive not only added greenery to the campus and biodiversity, but also instilled a deeper sense of responsibility, sustainability and environmental stewardship.
