Guest Lecture on International Shipping and Trade Law

The School of Legal Studies, in collaboration with the International Relations Department, successfully organised a guest lecture on “International Shipping and Trade Law: Career Pathways and Global Practice”. The session was delivered by Dr. Tabetha Kurtz-Shefford, Deputy Director of the Shipping and Trade LL.M. Programmes at Swansea University. The lecture provided valuable insights into global career opportunities in shipping and trade law, emerging trends in maritime law, and essential skills required for international legal practice. Students also gained guidance on pursuing higher education abroad, particularly specialized LL.M. programmes. The session was interactive and informative, offering students a broader perspective on global legal careers and academic advancement.
