Hasta la Vista

School of Liberal Arts organised a farewell aptly named “Hasta la Vista” for the graduating batch of students. The event commenced with the lamp-lighting ceremony by the Dean and the faculty members of SOLA. This was followed by a warm welcome address extended by Prof. (Dr.) Tania Gupta. Next, there were multiple music and dance performances by the students of the second and fourth semesters. This was followed by Dean’s Honour List Distribution Ceremony to honour the students’ academic achievements. To select the Mr. and Ms. Farewell, and Mr. and Ms. Best-dressed, students participated in a brief introduction round, talent show, and ramp walk. The judges for the session were Dr. Nudrat Jahan and Dr. Nandini Ahlawat. Mr. Saransh and Ms. Sia Juneja were crowned the Mr. and Ms. Farewell. Next, there was a cake-cutting session along with photo sessions, followed by a grand lunch. Post-lunch, there was a vibrant DJ session enjoyed by the students and the faculty. With the presence of the respected Dean, esteemed faculty members, and the enthusiastic students of SOLA, the “Hasta la Vista” farewell will remain etched in the hearts and minds of all those who were part of it.
