School of Architecture & Design successfully organised a international workshop titled “What Do Art Works Do All Day”. The workshop was led by renowned Irish international artist Maurice Quillinan. The session began with an insightful presentation by Maurice Quillinan, where he shared his artistic journey, philosophy of practice, and experiences in the international art field. He interacted with students, offering valuable perspectives on contemporary art practices and global artistic engagements.
The workshop included a hands-on collage exercise where students created artworks by combining magazine cuttings with drawings, resulting in visually rich and conceptually engaging compositions. The workshop provided students with meaningful exposure to international contemporary art practices, experimental methodologies, and collaborative creation. Students actively participated and expressed enthusiasm throughout the process, making the workshop a highly engaging, enriching, and inspiring learning experience.
