Turtle-Making Workshop

School of Architecture & Design students attended a Turtle-Making Workshop by Mr. Manveer Gautam (Plastic Valla) at Alliance Française, Delhi, as part of the “Festival of Ideas – We Are the Ocean.” Using pre-cleaned non-recyclable plastic waste, students created turtle sculptures on wooden bases through cutting, rolling, and assembling colourful plastic strips. The session emphasised sustainable art practices and environmental awareness. It was an engaging, hands-on experience that highlighted the creative reuse of plastic waste, leaving students inspired and more conscious of eco-friendly art methods.
