World Pharmacist Day

School of Medical & Allied Sciences celebrated “World Pharmacist Day”. With the combined efforts of International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and K.R. Mangalam University this event was organized to create awareness about the role of pharmacist in improving health. The theme for this year was “Pharmacy Strengthening health system”, students enthusiastically participated in constructive activities such as Poster Making, Model Making competition, Slogans, skits related to drug awareness etc to showcase their artistic and creative skills. A Rally based on a Theme- Pharmacy Strengthening health system was conducted to create awareness among the public regarding safety of health. The session started by an eminent resource person Dr. Milind V Talegaonkar (MRCP, UK ECMO specialist), Fortis Hospital, Gurugram . Dr. Milind shared his views and experience about numerous contributions the pharmacy profession made to health. He emphasized that pharmacists are the backbone of health care in many different settings.
