World Pharmacist Day

The School of Medical and Allied Sciences celebrated World Pharmacist Day under the theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist”. The event began with the Pharmacist’s Oath, reaffirming the commitment of budding pharmacists to ethical practice and patient care. An insightful guest lecture on “Pharmacist as Drug Designer: Unlocking the Power of Molecular Docking” was delivered by Dr. Kiran Bharat Lokhande, Research Scientist at THSTI, highlighting the expanding role of pharmacists in research and healthcare. The programme also featured a Workshop on Molecular Docking, where students explored computational drug discovery, and a Poster Competition, which showcased their creativity and scientific thinking. The celebration left a lasting impact by fostering awareness, encouraging research-driven learning, and inspiring students to embrace their future roles as healthcare professionals with integrity, knowledge, and innovation.
