Ar. Akshita Joshi is an Architect and Urban Planner with dual master’s degrees—one in Interior Design from Florence, Italy, and another in Urban Planning. With 2.5 years of professional experience, she has contributed to high-end residential, commercial, and institutional projects. During her master’s in urban planning, she had the opportunity to intern at IIT Bombay, where she gained hands-on experience in municipal solid waste management within the Thane Municipal Corporation. She was also part of the Narmada River Development Project, contributing to its conceptual design and 3D modeling, and involved in planning an Industrial Park in the Jabalpur district. For the past 4.5 years, she has been working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Interior Design at Manipal University Jaipur. Her teaching philosophy bridges professional practice with academic depth, aiming to develop well-rounded, industry-ready design professionals.
