  1. Arti Sharma is an accomplished legal academic, researcher, and practitioner with a strong interdisciplinary orientation and over nine years of combined academic and industry experience. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Law at K.R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Criminal Law, Contract Law, and allied subjects. Alongside teaching, she actively mentors undergraduate students, supervises dissertations, guides doctoral scholars, and contributes to academic governance as Time Table Coordinator and Editor of the School of Legal Studies Newsletter.

Dr. Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Law (2024) from Amity University, Noida, where her doctoral research focused on “Rights of Senior Citizens in India with Special Reference to Their Welfare and Maintenance”. She completed her LL.M. from Kurukshetra University and B.A. LL.B. from the Institute of Law and Research, Haryana, and also earned a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, securing Grade A. She is an enrolled advocate with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.

A committed researcher, Dr. Sharma has published extensively in Scopus-, Web of Science–, and UGC Care–indexed journals, with scholarly contributions spanning criminal justice, elderly rights, artificial intelligence and governance, occupational health, law and psychology, and technology law. Her work reflects a strong interdisciplinary approach and addresses contemporary socio-legal challenges. She has also presented papers and participated in numerous international and national conferences, seminars, summer schools, and faculty development programs, including programs on climate justice, ESG, pedagogy, green technology, and advanced research methodologies.
