Dr. Neha Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the School of Legal Studies, K.R. Mangalam University, with more than four years of teaching and academic experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from Sambalpur University, where her doctoral research examined the educational rights of children in childcare institutions through a socio-legal lens, with a focus on child rights and social justice.
Before joining K.R. Mangalam University, she served as an Assistant Professor at Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram and ICFAI University, Raipur, where she taught core law subjects including Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Business Law and Criminal Law. She has been actively involved in curriculum development, student mentoring, and organizing moot court and legal awareness activities. She also worked as a Research Assistant on an ICSSR IMPRESS Project on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, gaining practical experience in socio-legal fieldwork, empirical research, and policy-oriented analysis. She holds a certificate in Child Rights and Child Advocacy and is committed to inclusive, research-oriented, and practice-based legal education.
Dr. Sharma has published research papers in reputed SAGE and UGC-CARE-listed journals, contributed book chapters, and presented her work at national and international conferences. She regularly participates in faculty development programs and academic workshops, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.
