Dr. Rabiya Basri is a proficient plant protectionist with a specialization in entomology. Her expertise accounts bio-rational approaches towards pest management, integrated pest management, tri-trophic interaction among insects, host plant and plant viruses integrated pest management. She has earned her Ph.D. in Entomology and master degree in Plant Protection (Entomology) from Department of Plant Protection, Aligarh Muslim University, India. Qualified ASRB (ICAR) NET in entomology in 2017. She has acquired merit position in her post graduate. Presently, she is working as an Assistant Professor at School of Agriculture, KR Mangalam University, India. She was facilitated by ‘Young Women Scientist’ and ‘Young scientist’ Award’. She has also been awarded with Maulana Azad National Fellowship by UGC. She has published various research papers in journal of national and international repute. She has authored a book ‘Biological Control’ with an International Publisher along with many book chapters in the book of national and international publishers. A patent on’ METHOD OF DEVELOPING DRUG DELIVERY TECHNOLOGY USING NANOSCALE’ has been published with her name.
