Dr. Sumit Kalra is a distinguished academic and clinician in the field of physiotherapy. He completed his undergraduate studies at SBS Institute, Dehradun in 2003, and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (Orthopedics) from CCS University in 2005. Further enhancing his academic credentials, he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and later earned his Ph.D. from Manav Rachna University.
With over more than 13 years of teaching experience and 7 years of clinical practice, Dr. Kalra has significantly contributed to both academic and healthcare sectors. He has held key leadership positions, including serving as Unit Head at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Patparganj, Delhi, and as Head of Department at Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Physiotherapy under GGSIP University, Delhi.
Dr. Kalra is a prolific researcher, having authored more than 50 research papers published in various national and international journals. He is actively engaged in the professional community through his involvement in organizing and participating in national and international conferences, seminars, and Continued Medical Education (CME) programs. He has also presented scientific papers at reputed conferences, receiving accolades for his contributions.
His core areas of interest include Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. Dr. Kalra has also spearheaded various physiotherapy camps, ergonomic sessions for multinational corporations, and initiatives aimed at public health awareness and clinical education.
