Ms. Indumati Pandey

Ms. Indumati Pandey has recently submitted her Ph.D. in Commerce at IFTM University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Her doctoral research, titled “Management of NPAs in India: A Critical Evaluation of IBC, 2016 on Banking Sector”, reflects her deep interest in banking, finance, and institutional frameworks for debt resolution. She has successfully qualified the UGC-NET in Commerce (2025) and holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) degree from Kurukshetra University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with specialization in Finance from IIMT, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Delhi University.
With over 13 years of corporate experience in Finance and Accounts, including her most recent role as Manager–Finance Operations at HSBC HDPI India Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Pandey brings a rich blend of academic insight and practical industry exposure. At HSBC, she was instrumental in streamlining financial operations, developing SOPs and workflows for audit readiness, and collaborating with automation teams to create innovative solutions such as the Balance Sheet Reconciliation Application (BSR App).
Her research interests lie in the areas of Business Economics, Banking & Finance, Financial Management, and Research Methodology. She has several publications in reputed Scopus-indexed journals, including studies on debt recovery channels, comparative analysis of NPAs in public and private banks, and critical evaluations of IBC mechanisms. She has also presented her work in international conferences, contributing actively to contemporary debates on India’s financial system and insolvency frameworks.
Ms. Pandey is proficient in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, and Oracle, along with statistical tools like STATA and R. She remains deeply committed to academic excellence, student development, and bridging the gap between research and real-world financial practices.
