Krishanu Singh was born on 5th May, 1993 in Ranchi (Jharkhand). She has completed her graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, and Post-Graduation from Ranchi University, followed by PhD from Amity University, Noida. She has also cleared UGC NET in the year 2019. Her research is focused on representation of witches and the supernatural in literature and popular culture. Her research explores themes of gender, body politics, horror, and cultural narratives, post colonialism. She has contributed chapter and research papers on witchcraft, body horror and gender studies. Also, she has participated in several International conferences. Alongside research, Ms. Singh deeply interested in teaching and mentoring students in areas of literature, cultural studies, and communication skills.
