Dr. Prerna Sharma

Prerna Sharma is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance and Accounting from The NorthCap University, Gurugram. Her doctoral research examines the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance on the financial performance of Indian companies. She holds a master’s degree in commerce (Finance) from Banaras Hindu University and a bachelor’s degree in commerce (Honours) from the University of Delhi. She has qualified the UGC-NET and has been awarded both Junior and Senior Research Fellowships by the University Grants Commission. Her research interests include corporate finance, ESG, corporate governance, and risk management. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at several national and international conferences. Alongside her research, she has gained teaching experience in finance and accounting at multiple academic institutions.
