Assistant Professor
Richa Malaviya has completed her MPhil and PhD from NIEPA (NCERT Campus).
She has co-authored seven books for Public Universities on Education, Biology, Psychology, Technology, Teacher Education, Science Education, Value Education and Gender Education for Graduate students.
She has published 3 papers in peer reviewed journals and 2 papers in International Journals. Recently she is working on research chapter on Student Wellbeing for publishment through Centre for the Study of Higher Education, The University of Melbourne, Australia in Routledge.
She has 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the college level, as Assistant Professor in Jagan Nath University and Visiting Faculty at JIMS Rohini. She has also been Science and Mathematics Teacher at DPS world School, Greater Noida.
She has been member of CBSE Committee for development of Capacity Building Programmes (CBP) on ‘Educating Parents about Education’ proposed to be offered to CBSE teachers (as per the latest CPD guidelines that will equip teachers/individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge on active learning in 21st century workforce) which has been released by CBSE in November 2023.
She is a gold medallist in B.Ed. and M.Ed. program at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Amity University, AUUP.
She is a member of Quantum Workforce and has also been speaker on World Quantum Day in India Habitat Centre. In June 2025, she has done Leadership course from Harvard University U.S. Presently, her research interest focuses on Self-learning, Enabled Self-learning and Self-Regulated Learning in Higher Education Institutions.

CBSE Curriculum & Manual Development ( June 2022- June 2024) As a PhD Scholar at NIEPA, I was selected as a committee member by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to contribute to the development of a Capacity Building Programme (CBP) titled ‘Educating Parents about Education.’ Working alongside educators and administrators, I helped design a training manual for CBSE teachers, focusing on active learning strategies, hands-on activities, and best practices tailored to 21st-century workforce needs. My role involved aligning the program with CBSE’s CPD guidelines and addressing diverse target groups, including PGTs, TGTs, and PRTs. This opportunity allowed me to collaborate with experts nationwide and strengthen my expertise in educational planning and policy implementation.
Enhanced pedagogical practices across K-12 levels through CPD-aligned teacher training programs. Fostered scholarly discourse in educational and psychological sciences through national and international peer-reviewed research.

12.A book chapter titled “Student Satisfaction and Wellbeing in Higher Education: A Study of Undergraduate Students in India” has been accepted for publication by Routledge, in collaboration with the Centre for the Study of Higher Education, University of Melbourne on 23 June 2025.
