Dr. Rohini Kumari is a self-driven and enthusiastic education professional with over 10 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. Born on 15th February 1992 in Haryana, she pursued her academic journey with remarkable distinction, securing the 8th Rank in her University during her B.A. (Hons.) in Economics and the 5th Rank during her M.A. in Economics from M.D. University, Rohtak.
She specializes in teaching courses such as Macro Economics, Mathematical Economics, Statistics, Developmental Economics, Gender Economics, and Public Economics. Skilled in interdisciplinary teaching, curriculum design, and inquiry-based learning, Dr. Kumari actively integrates emerging pedagogical tools and technology to enhance learning outcomes and contribute to research-led academic excellence.
Currently serving as Assistant Professor in the School of Humanities at K. R. Mangalam University since October 2022, she has also held the additional role of Assistant Dean, Academics. She is a UGC NET and JRF qualified academician, a Life Member of the Indian Economic Association and the Indian Social Science Association, and a recipient of multiple prestigious awards including the ‘Iconic Women Creating Better World for All’ award by WICCI and ALL (2025), and the ‘Dedication and Service Award 2025’ by K. R. Mangalam University.
