Clean Water and Sanitation

Ensure Availability and Sustainable Management of Water and Sanitation for all

SDG-6:Clean Water and Sanitation

We adhere to the core idea that everyone on campus has a fundamental right to access clean water and sanitary facilities. In every facet of water use, our operations, infrastructure, and learning environment are planned to support sustainability, dignity, and health.
Purified and hygienic drinking water stations provide constant access to safe water throughout academic buildings, residence halls, parks, and public hallways. To maintain health and hygiene at all times, these systems are supported by regular maintenance, quality inspections, and water-purification procedures. In order to lessen reliance on single-use bottled water and promote ecologically friendly behaviors among students and employees, we aggressively promote refill culture and responsible consumption.
Planning for biodiversity and landscaping also incorporates sustainable water practices. Native and climate-resilient species are given priority on our campus, which is reinforced by eco-friendly upkeep and organic soil techniques. In addition to conserving water, these green systems enhance campus biodiversity, improving the quality of life for local wildlife, employees, and students.
A key component of our strategy is awareness and education. Water stewardship is incorporated into workshops, student-led projects, and academic programs, enabling students to comprehend global water issues and develop solutions that are ready for the future. We provide clean-water support outside of campus and encourage fair access in surrounding neighborhoods through community outreach, free drinking-water access points, and awareness campaigns.
Our dedication is reinforced by collaborations with national missions and environmental organizations, which also give students a forum to actively participate in sustainable water practices, river conservation, and practical problem solving. These cooperative endeavors foster civic engagement, environmental ethics, and leadership.
In order to ensure clean water, safe sanitation, and a healthy ecosystem for everyone, both now and in future generations, we continue to construct a campus that serves as a model for sustainable and inclusive water management through an all-encompassing approach that integrates infrastructure, conservation, education, and community impact.
