    International Day of Non Violence Celebration

    School of Humanities organized “International Day of Non-Violence (2nd October)” on 29 September 2023 to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s 154th birth anniversary, leader of the Indian independence movement and pioneer of the philosophy of non-violence.

    Prof. Neha Jain, Dean-SOHS lit a lamp and extended a floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri (119th birth anniversary. The students were addressed by Dean-SOHS conveying the message of non-violence in our day-to-day life through small acts of kindness. The event featured a documentary screening on Mahatma Gandhi titled “Gandhi- India’s Great Soul” which enabled students to gain insights into Mahatma Gandhi’s life and imbibe the acts of ahimsa and satyagraha in their doings. The event was concluded by singing the National Anthem.
