Collaboration with the Department of Justice

K.R. Mangalam University is proud to announce its collaboration with the Department of Justice under the esteemed Pro Bono Club scheme. As a part of the initiative “Nyaya Bandhu”, the university is committed to fostering a culture of pro bono legal services among the youth of India. This partnership is like a bridge, connecting law students to underserved communities, allowing them to offer legal aid and contribute to social justice.
Under the guidance of the nodal officer/faculty in charge, Dr Shobhna Jeet, associate professor, School of Legal Studies, the initiative aims to establish a pan-India framework for pro bono legal services, ensuring holistic access to justice for all. By engaging students in meaningful legal work, we are preparing them to be not just legal professionals but also compassionate advocates of change.
