Educational Trip to Khushboo Welfare Society

The School of Humanities organised an interactive educational Tour to Khushboo Welfare Society for a session on ‘Autism Awareness and Special Therapies’. The key objectives of the tour were to instil awareness around ‘Autism’ and other developmental and mental health conditions, and to expose students to the ground realities faced by people with disorders, their parents, as well as practitioners, and to sensitise students to their specialised needs. The tour proved to be highly enriching for the students; they were able to conduct their tests and could interact with the special educators and health practitioners there, thus gaining deeper insights.
