Field Visit to Save Aravali Trust Nursery

The School of Education (SOED), K.R. Mangalam University, organised a field visit to the Save Aravali Trust Nursery. The purpose of the excursion was to inform students about the importance of protecting the Aravali Range, plantations, and wastewater harvesting. Ms. Meenakshi emphasised the Trust’s mission to protect and revitalise the Aravali Hills, which are crucial to the environment.

Discussions were held regarding issues such as the historical degradation of the Aravali Range and agricultural failure brought about by climate change. Notwithstanding these difficulties, the Trust remains optimistic. In addition to serving as a centre for teaching, the nursery distributes native plant species and serves as a hub for their propagation.
