PysioCon 2024

The School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences recently organised a physiotherapy conference that brought together delegates from various physiotherapy colleges across Delhi NCR. The conference aimed to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovation in the field of physiotherapy. It featured a series of workshops, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and scientific paper presentations. Dr. Chitra Kataria, Head of Rehab Expansion, ISIC, was the Chief Guest for the event. She played an integral role in establishing the ISIC Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre Hospital and introduced various educational programmes. Dr. Jasobanta Sethi, Director, Amity University, and Dr. Abha Sharma, Chief Physiotherapist, Holy Family Hospital, Delhi, were the esteemed Guests of Honour. Students across Delhi NCR participated in scientific paper presentations on several topics relevant to sustainability.

It featured insightful panel discussions by various experts from esteemed institutions, moderated by Dr. Zubia Waqar, Head, CPRS, Jamia Millia Islamia. The panellists highlighted the importance of sustainability in healthcare and concluded it to be a long-term prospect for advancing healthcare. The conference concluded with an award distribution ceremony where experts from the field of physical therapy were awarded for their outstanding contributions to the field of physiotherapy.
