Demo Vote Session for First Time Voters

Model United Nations (MUN) Organised ‘Demo Vote Session for First Time Voters’– an electoral awareness and demonstration programme on Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) in K. R. Mangalam University in association with District Election Office, Gurugram, Govt. of Haryana State.  The speaker  for this session was Shri Gaurav Singh, CEO of the Haryana State CSR Trust, underscored the pivotal role of informed voting in bolstering democratic governance. The District Election Office, Gurugram, provided a hands-on demonstration of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) systems, enriching attendees’ understanding of the electoral process and offering practical experience. The session concluded with an insightful Q&A session, allowing students to deepen their comprehension of EVM voting machines.
