The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the CUET PG 2026 (Common University Entrance Test), a nationwide Computer-Based Test (CBT) for admission to postgraduate programmes at Central and participating universities for the academic year 2026–2027. Steps to Apply Online for CUET PG 2026

Fill Out the CUET PG Application Form 2026

Fill out the Online Application Form and record the Application Number that is produced by the system. In addition to creating a password, selecting a security question, and providing their response, the candidate must fill out the Online Application Form with the necessary information. 

In order to complete the application form, which includes filling out personal information, applying for the paper, selecting the examination cities, supplying the details of educational qualifications, and more, candidates can log in using the system-generated application number and pre-created password. When filling out the application, the candidate must submit their live photo as well as their signature, PwD/PwBD certificate (if applicable), and scanned images of their photo (.jpeg/.jpg). Upload scanned copies of the candidate’s signature, photo, and, if relevant, PwD certificate. 

Payment of Fee

Candidates must pay the required examination fee after finishing the first step. The fee can only be paid online using UPI services, credit cards, debit cards, and net banking. The relevant bank/payment gateway integrator will charge the candidate processing fees and GST, if applicable, in addition to the test cost. 

Only once the candidate has successfully paid the fee, the online application form’s confirmation page will appear. The applicant may need to contact the relevant bank or payment gateway to ensure a successful payment or to receive a refund for multiple payments if the Confirmation Page is not created after the fee is paid. For future reference, download, save, and print a copy of the Application Form’s Confirmation Page (which may only be downloaded upon the successful payment of the fee).

Candidates can do all three steps at the same time or separately.

CUET PG 2026 Admit Card

Candidates will get a provisional e-Admit Card via the NTA website, subject to meeting eligibility requirements and paying the required application cost.

The e-Admit Card must be downloaded by the applicant from the NTA website. The candidate will show up for the exam at the designated location on the day, time, and shift specified on his or her e-Admit Card. There won’t be any correspondence or other notification about the e-Admit card. No applicant will be permitted to show up at the testing location.

The NTA website will indicate the time for getting the exam’s e-Admit Card. It is recommended that candidates carefully study the instructions on the e-Admit Card and adhere to them during the test.

CUET PG Syllabus 2026

The CUET PG syllabus​ 2026 is designed to assess a candidate’s subject-specific knowledge at the undergraduate level for the postgraduate programme they are applying for. The syllabus varies depending on the chosen course (MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, MPharm, LLM, etc.) and is aligned with standard UG curricula followed by Indian universities.

CUET PG Exam Pattern 2026

The CUET PG Exam Pattern 2026 is structured to evaluate a candidate’s subject-specific knowledge relevant to their chosen postgraduate programme. The exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Each paper generally consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the undergraduate-level syllabus of the selected subject. The total number of questions, duration, and marking scheme may vary depending on the course, but most papers follow a 120-minute exam duration. For every correct answer, +4 marks are awarded, while 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect response. The exam is conducted in English or Hindi, depending on the subject. 

CUET PG Answer Key 2026

In order to provide applicants the chance to contest the provisional answer keys, the NTA will post the answers to the questions on its website along with a public notice. Each question that is contested will be subject to a non-refundable processing cost of ₹200, which may be paid online. It’s conceivable that the temporary answer keys will be visible for two to three days.

CUET PG results 2026 are tentatively expected around May 6, 2026, by the National Testing Agency (NTA), following exams held from March 13 to April 1, 2026, with the final answer key released just before.
