CUET UG 2025 Result Analysis

The findings of the CUET UG 2025 result analysis are as follows:

• Increased competition: Compared to the CUET 2024, more students took the CUET this year, raising the bar for top universities.

• Varying difficulty levels: Questions from Biology were easier, while the General Test and Chemistry were seen as challenging.

• Normalisation method: To fairly compare scores across sessions, NTA used a process known as normalisation, given the exam’s multiple days and shifts.

• 100 percentile achievers: Thousands of students scored 100 percentile in one or more subjects, intensifying the competition for popular courses.

What is the Cut-Off for CUET 2025?

The cut off for different colleges is different, and this could only be helped with the guidance of career counsellors of that particular university or college/institution. Normally counselling sessions are organised before the admissions, and students can visit those sessions, take some help from the seniors, and follow the admission process according to the rules and regulations of the college.

According to NTA and our experts, the expected minimum percentiles needed for general admission are:

General (UR): 90-100 percentile (95–100 for professional courses)

OBC-NCL/EWS: 75-95 percentile

SC/ST/PwD: 50-85 percentile

Note: These are the minimum scores to be eligible, but the exact cut-offs differ from university to university, course to course, and category to category.
