Workshop on “Virtual Screening & Molecular Docking in Drug Discovery”

School of Medical & Allied Sciences in collaboration with the International Center for Stem Cells, Cancer & Biotechnology (ICSCCB), New Delhi, organized a one-day workshop on “Virtual Screening & Molecular Docking in Drug Discovery: Navigating the Frontier of Cancer Research.” The workshop aimed to explore the latest advancements and breakthroughs in cancer treatment and diagnosis. Hands-on workshop was conducted for registered delegates covering demonstrations on drawing molecules and ligand preparation using ChemDraw, hands-on exercises with ChemDraw, and demos on receptor preparation with Chimera and OpenBabel. Mr. Abhijit Debnath, an expert in molecular docking and drug design, trained the participants thereby enriching their understanding on the subject matter.
